In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Crow Creek Chieftains basketball team scored a tight 74-72 triumph over the Lower Brule Sioux.
In their next game, the Chieftains meet the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) in a A Region 6 match, on Thursday, February 2. Crow Creek will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 1-12 record after their 45-33 league loss to Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD).
With the defeat, Lower Brule moves to 7-7 on the year. The Sioux travel to Wessington Springs (Wessington Springs, SD) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Thursday, February 2.
