In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD), by a count of 48-40.

The Monarchs (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans go into the B Region 1 outing with a 12-1 record. In their last outing, Leola/Frederick defeated Ipswich (Ipswich, SD), 40-17, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Sunshine Bible Academy for a B Region 6 outing on Thursday, February 2. Faulkton will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 55-23 league loss to Highmore/Harrold (Highmore, SD). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-12.
