The Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers (Gardner, KS) basketball knocked off the host Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS), 45-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trailblazers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Shawnee Mission North (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Bison go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Shawnee Mission North notched a victory over Olathe East (Olathe, KS), 38-30, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Olathe North for a Sunflower test on Friday, February 3. Shawnee Mission East will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 40-24 league loss to Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
