West Virginia High School Basketball - Ripley overwhelmed by George Washington

The Ripley Vikings basketball team (Ripley, WV), was overwhelmed 69-45 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV)

The Patriots now possess a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hurricane for a Mountain State battle on Thursday, February 2. George Washington will confront a Redskins team coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 8-10.

The Vikings (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers come into the Cardinal battle with a 18-0 record. In their last battle, Wayne trounced Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV), 44-26, in a league battle.
