Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hamburg Hawks (Hamburg, PA), 52-17 in a league bout.

With the win, Wyomissing upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA) to play the Bullets in a Berks County 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Bullets go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Brandywine Heights Area lost 46-21 in their recent league bout against Oley Valley (Oley, PA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) in a Berks County 3 bout, on Friday, February 3. Hamburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA).
