The Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ) basketball nipped the host West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ), 28-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets (7-9) will now prepare for their test against North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ). The North Brunswick Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, North Brunswick was tipped by Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ), 55-47, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Windsor-Plainsboro North for a Colonial Valley - Colonial contest on Wednesday, February 1. West Windsor-Plainsboro South will battle a Knights team coming off a 41-30 non-league win over Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 4-10.
