The Wagner Red Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Hanson Beavers to 46 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andes Central/Dakota Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Wagner will meet a team coming off a 67-63 league win over Burke (Burke, SD). The record now stands at 11-1.
The Beavers (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Titans enter the A Region 5 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton ran past Gregory (Gregory, SD), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
