Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County thwarts Maxwell

The Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), 49-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Plainsmen (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Akron (Akron, CO). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Akron notched a victory over Fleming (Fleming, CO), 41-38, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Wallace for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Maxwell will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 38-29 non-league win over Sutherland (Sutherland, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-10.
