Georgia High School Basketball - Wayne County routs McIntosh County Academy

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), by a margin of 59-33.
The Yellow Jackets (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAA Region 3 outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Southeast Bulloch was trounced by Burke County (Waynesboro, GA), 65-40, in a league outing.
The Buccaneers now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Portal for a A D2 Region 3 outing on Friday, February 3. McIntosh County Academy will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 46-38 league loss to Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-16.
