Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD), 48-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Middletown upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Knights host Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a Central Maryland bout on Thursday, February 2. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Governor Thomas Johnson lost 73-11 in their recent league bout against Linganore (Frederick, MD)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Winters Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 47-25 league loss to Williamsport (Williamsport, MD).
