California High School Basketball - North Tahoe trounces Sparks

The North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), 46-7 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lakers (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the 2A Northern test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Battle Mountain was trounced by Yerington (Yerington, NV), 34-18, in a league test.
The Railroaders now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Hug for a 3A Northern - West test on Wednesday, February 1. Sparks will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 42-27 league loss to Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-12.
