In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) basketball squad beat the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), by a margin of 56-47.
The Battlers (9-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD). The Chargers go into the B Region 6 outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Sully Buttes defeated Jones County (Murdo, SD), 47-44, in a non-league outing.
The Pheasants now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Webster for a A Region 1 outing on Thursday, February 2. Redfield will clash with a Bearcats squad coming off a 49-31 non-league win over Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-9.
