In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sedan Devils (Sedan, KS), by a count of 56-24.

The Patriots (10-5) will now prepare for their outing against Oxford (Oxford, KS). The Wildcats go into the South Central Border outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Oxford smashed Caldwell (Caldwell, KS), 43-30, in a non-league outing.

The Devils now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Udall for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Sedan will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 58-28 non-league loss to South Haven (South Haven, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 4-11.
