The West Central Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Tri-Valley Mustangs to 46 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tea for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. West Central will battle a Titans team coming off a 71-55 non-league win over Western Christian (Hull, IA). The Titans record now stands at 6-6.

The Mustangs (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD). The Quarriers come into the A Region 3 contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Dell Rapids edged Baltic (Baltic, SD), 55-40, in a league contest.
