Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA), 37-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chico upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a bout on Thursday, February 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Red Bluff lost 32-27 in their recent league bout against Shasta (Redding, CA)

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, February 2. Del Oro will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 47-26 league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
