Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) and the host Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD), saw Sully Buttes's basketball squad knock off Jones County by a count of 26-10.

With the victory, Sully Buttes upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign.

Next up, the Coyotes play the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Jones County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 47-44 league loss to Harding County (Buffalo, SD).
