In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), by a margin of 78-43.
The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Texico (Texico, NM). The Wolverines go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Texico was trounced by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 52-44, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Robertson for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 1. Raton will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 80-42 non-league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-2.
