Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Wilson Bulldogs (West Lawn, PA), 47-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Catasauqua upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Rough Riders travel to Wilson Area (Easton, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Wilson Area won 50-38 in their recent league bout against Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA) in a Berks County 1 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-9 season record. The Red KNights come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 81-35 league win over Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA).
