Middleton Vikings (Middleton, ID) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Centennial Patriots (Boise, ID), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Middleton upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Eagle (Eagle, ID) to play the Mustangs in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Friday, February 2. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-7. Eagle lost 65-51 in their recent league bout against Meridian (Meridian, ID)

Next up, the Patriots play the Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho bout, on Friday, February 2. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 74-71 league loss to Capital (Boise, ID).
