In Wednesday's league match, the visiting East Jefferson Warriors basketball team scored a decisive 73-50 triumph over the West Jefferson Buccaneers.
In their next game, the Warriors meet the Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA) in a 5A District 8 match, on Friday, February 2. East Jefferson will attempt to move on its 9-18 season record.
With the defeat, West Jefferson moves to 8-20 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Roneagles in a non-league match on Saturday, February 3.
