Lyons Lions (Lyons, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Rochester Bombers (East Rochester, NY), 77-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lyons upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Lions travel to North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-11. North Rose-Wolcott lost 75-45 in their recent league bout against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY)

Next up, the Bombers clash with the Marion Black Knights (Marion, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne bout, on Thursday, February 1. East Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Black Knights go into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 84-42 league loss to Sodus (Sodus, NY).
