In their next game, the Scarabs face the Campus International Trailblazers (Cleveland, OH) in a Senate game, on Friday, February 2. East Tech will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Trailblazers enter the game with a 0-12 record after their 91-12 league loss to Glenville (Cleveland, OH).

With the defeat, Shaw moves to 3-11 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Lorain (Lorain, OH) to face the Titans in a Lake Erie game on Friday, February 2. The Titans enter the game with a record of 6-8. Lorain lost 62-30 in their recent league game against Garfield Heights (Garfield Heights, OH)
