Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 71-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Halifax Academy upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season.

Next up, the play the Hart County Raiders (Munfordville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 351-1258 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 58-49 non-league loss to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY).
