In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lawrenceville School Big Red (Lawrenceville, NJ), by a margin of 62-31.
The Gray Bees (14-5) will now prepare for their outing against Peddie (Hightstown, NJ). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Peddie was trounced by Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA), 85-45, in a non-league outing.
The Big Red now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to The Pingry School for a non-league outing on Friday, February 2. Lawrenceville School will clash with a Big Blue squad coming off a 61-59 non-league win over North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ). The Big Blue record now stands at 12-4.
