Madison Trojans (Madison, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sumner Bulldogs (St. Louis, MO), 50-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Madison upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Quincy Notre Dame won 77-40 in their recent league bout against Barry Western (Barry, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Duchesne Pioneers (St. Charles, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Sumner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
