With the victory, Making Waves Academy upgrades its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Marlins travel to Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Cougars in a Bay Counties - General challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Contra Costa Christian won 69-39 in their recent league challenge against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Averroes Falcon (Fremont, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Oakland Military Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record.
