Ohio High School Basketball - Ridgemont crushes Mt. Gilead

January 31, 2024: Mt. Gilead, OH 43338

Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH), 71-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ridgemont upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Golden Gophers host North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH) to play the Tigers in a Northwest Central bout on Friday, February 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-9. North Baltimore lost 78-71 in their recent non-league bout against Woodmore (Elmore, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Fredericktown Freddies (Fredericktown, OH) in a Knox Morrow bout, on Saturday, February 3. Mt. Gilead will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Freddies go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 70-59 league win over Danville (Danville, OH).
