The Waverly Wolverines (Waverly, NY) basketball felled the visiting Oneonta Yellowjackets (Oneonta, NY), 56-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Chenango Forks (Binghamton, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - Central test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Chenango Forks was beaten by Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY), 71-60, in a league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greene for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1.
