The South Cardinals basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Racine Horlick Rebels to 65 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barack Obama Career & Tech for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. South will meet a Cougars team coming off a 66-65 non-league win over Milwaukee Bay View (Milwaukee, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 6-6.
The Rebels (0-18) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Trail (Kenosha, WI). The Hawks enter the Southeast contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Indian Trail nudged Oak Creek (Oak Creek, WI), 64-48, in a league contest.
