The Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) basketball nipped the host Windsor Locks Raiders (Windsor Locks, CT), 57-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Bears (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos go into the Berkshire test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Terryville was tipped by Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 70-53, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Windsor for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Windsor Locks will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 92-46 league loss to Manchester (Manchester, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-10.
