Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) and the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), saw Miramonte's basketball squad wallop Alhambra by a tally of 50-25.

With the victory, Miramonte improves its record to 16-9 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA) to confront the Wolves in a Diablo challenge on Friday, February 2. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Ygnacio Valley lost 62-43 in their recent league challenge against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a Diablo challenge, on Friday, February 2. Alhambra will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 14-11 record after their 39-26 league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA).
