Ohio High School Basketball - Holy Name over Barberton

January 31, 2024: Barberton, OH 44203

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) and the host Barberton Magics (Barberton, OH), saw Holy Name's basketball squad overcome Barberton by a tally of 60-45.

With the victory, Holy Name improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Hawken (Gates Mills, OH) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Hawken lost 39-31 in their recent league challenge against Orange (Pepper Pike, OH)

Next up, the Magics confront the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a Suburban - American challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Barberton will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Black Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 51-45 non-league loss to Norton (Norton, OH).
