Ohio High School Basketball - Northland topped by Central Crossing

The Central Crossing Comets basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Northland Vikings to 39 in the Comets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Comets now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye contest on Friday, February 2. Central Crossing will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-52 league loss to Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-11.

The Vikings (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH). The Panthers come into the Columbus City - North contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Linden-McKinley dropped by Centennial (Columbus, OH), 78-29, in a league contest.
