Connecticut High School Basketball - Conard can't hold off Simsbury

The Simsbury Trojans basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Conard Red Wolves to 46 in the Trojans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Trojans now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newington for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Simsbury will battle a Nor'easters team coming off a 44-32 non-league win over Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Nor'easters record now stands at 13-3.
The Red Wolves (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Golden Hurricanes come into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, New Britain was nudged by Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT), 44-43, in a non-league contest.
