In Wednesday's league match, the host Cranston East Thunderbolts basketball team scored a good 51-41 triumph over the East Greenwich Avengers.
In their next game, the Thunderbolts meet the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) in a Division 2 match, on Tuesday, February 6. Cranston East will attempt to move on its 4-14 season record. The Kilties enter the match with a 1-13 record after their 57-14 league loss to Moses Brown (Providence, RI).
With the defeat, East Greenwich moves to 4-11 on the year. The Avengers host Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to meet the Sentinels in a Division 2 match on Monday, February 5. The Sentinels enter the match with a record of 9-7. Smithfield won 46-34 in their recent league match against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
