Colorado High School Basketball - Hinkley trounced by George Washington

January 31, 2024: Denver, CO 80224

The George Washington Patriots routed the visiting Hinkley Thunderbirds basketball team by a final score of 83-3 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Westminster Wolves (Westminster, CO) in a 6A Denver Prep game, on Friday, February 2. George Washington will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 6-11 record after their 56-44 league loss to Rangeview (Aurora, CO).

With the defeat, Hinkley moves to 0-14 on the year. The Thunderbirds host Denver South (Denver, CO) to face the Ravens in a non-league game on Friday, February 2. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 9-8. Denver South won 61-23 in their recent league game against Far Northeast Warriors (Denver, CO)
