In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH) basketball squad beat the host United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH), by a count of 63-43.

The Rockets (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Mogadore (Mogadore, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 9-10 record. In their last outing, Mogadore defeated Aquinas (Louisville, OH), 40-38, in a league outing.
