The Middletown Cavaliers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights to 41 in the Cavaliers league victory on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to William Penn for a Blue Hen Flight - A contest on Friday, February 2. Middletown will battle a Colonials team coming off a 50-39 non-league loss to Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Colonials record now stands at 6-5.
The Green Knights (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Brandywine prevailed over Glasgow (Newark, DE), 53-39, in a league contest.
