Georgia High School Basketball - Seckinger can't hold off Mt. Bethel Christian Academy

The Seckinger Jaguars basketball team (Buford, GA), was nudged 52-50 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles (Marietta, GA)

The Eagles now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loganville Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 41-38 league win over Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA). The Lions record now stands at 11-13.

The Jaguars (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Warriors come into the AAAA Region 8 battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Walnut Grove edged Madison County (Danielsville, GA), 52-40, in a league battle.
