Park Hill South Panthers (Riverside, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Kansas City Hornets (North Kansas City, MO), 54-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Park Hill South upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Panthers host Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Lee's Summit won 52-44 in their recent non-league bout against Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Oak Park Northmen (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. North Kansas City will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Northmen go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 84-46 non-league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).
