Clayton Valley Charter Ugly Eagles (Concord, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), 47-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Clayton Valley Charter upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Ugly Eagles host Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a bout on Friday, February 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Berean Christian lost 84-26 in their recent league bout against College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Vanden Vikings (Fairfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Benicia will attempt to upgrade on its 12-13 season record.
