The Lake Wales Highlanders basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting George Jenkins Eagles to 47 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Lake Wales will meet a Tigers team coming off a 76-65 non-league loss to NSU University (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
