With the win, Great Mills upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hornets host Patuxent (Lusby, MD) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-9.

Next up, the Hurricanes play the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Huntingtown will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 50-47 non-league loss to McDonough (Pomfret, MD).
