In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Academy for Business & Tech Gators basketball team scored a good 70-59 win over the Pontiac Academy for Excellence Eagles.

The Gators (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Universal Academy (Detroit, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Universal Academy was topped by American International Academy (Inkster, MI), 64-22, in a league test.

The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs come into the non-league test with a 10-4 record.
