The Achievement First Providence Falcons basketball squad (Providence, RI), was nudged 64-59 in Friday's league battle with the host Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI)
With the victory, Providence Country Day advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Knights host Block Island (New Shoreham, RI) to meet the in a Division III battle on Monday, February 3. The enter the battle with a record of 0-11. Block Island lost 71-41 in their recent league battle against Scituate (North Scituate, RI)
The Falcons (3-11) will now prepare for their test against St. Patrick Academy (Providence, RI). The Padres come into the Division III test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, St. Patrick Academy held off Blackstone Valley Prep (Cumberland, RI), 40-29, in a league test.
