In Friday's league test, the Dow Chargers (Midland, MI) basketball squad defeated the visiting Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI), by a final score of 56-45.

Next, the Chargers clash with the Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 4. Dow will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 51-50 league win over Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI).

The Warriors (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Central (Bay City, MI). The Wolves come into the Saginaw Valley test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Central went down by Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI), 84-29, in a league test.
