The Spring Grove Lions basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms to 41 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Glenville-Emmons for a A Section 1 game on Monday, February 3.

With the loss, Blooming Prairie falls to 13-5 on the campaign. The Awesome blossoms travel to Triton (Dodge Center, MN) to play the Cobras in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Cobras go into the game with a record of 15-5. Triton won 93-88 in their recent league game against Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN)
