Washington High School Basketball - Mercer Island routs Cedarcrest

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mercer Island Islanders basketball team scored a big 63-36 triumph over the Cedarcrest Red Wolves.

The Islanders (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Redmond (Redmond, WA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Redmond smashed Bothell (Bothell, WA), 84-61, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Red Wolves confront the Eastlake Wolves (Sammamish, WA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Cedarcrest will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 10-9 record after their 56-39 non-league loss to Interlake (Bellevue, WA).
