Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) boosters left the game pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team overcome the host Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 67-50 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots come into the Montgomery County - Central challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Wootton defeated Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD), 62-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Damascus will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 84-33 non-league win over Einstein (Kensington, MD).
