In Friday's league contest, the visiting De La Salle Cavalier basketball team scored a big 62-15 triumph over the Morris Jeff Pelicans.
The Cavalier (22-9) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Wolves go into the 3A District 10 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Livingston Collegiate Academy was trounced by Kennedy (New Orleans, LA), 56-28, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pelicans battle the Wright (New Orleans, LA) in a 3A District 10 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Morris Jeff will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The go into the contest with a 17-10 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
